Life in this world is, and always has been, a struggle for survival. Those who seek a Utopian environment fool only themselves and those who would follow them. When one threat to survival and freedom has been subdued, another will arise after.
Man has subdued the great beasts, and for the most part, the environment which will threaten him from time to time. The one beast he will never completely subdue is the beast within other men who seek his abasement or destruction. For this reason, there will always be wars and rumors of wars.
Those who run from these wars will become the subjects of the warmongers, or they will be pursued and destroyed. Those who face the warmongers will be victorious, or they will die in the effort to be free. Much greater is it to die fighting to be free.....than to cower in submission.

OKay, my Dear Wolf--I still haven't got the hang of this site yet....I know I commented on the other site.
Anyway, freedom ISN'T free...and too many peacenix want us in bondage to whom ever "promises"--gasp, wheeze-- "they won't hurt us".....Or "promises"--cough, cough-- "change".
Too many people over the years have died or were wounded for this.
Great video by the way...I like the "Patriot" as a movie, so it is fitting that you included it. :-)

Neat post, Lonewolf. Short but to the point. The battle between good and evil will never abate. Those utopian fools who think that by pretending evil doesn't exist, or that if it does, it will leave them alone if they show that they mean no harm are in for a fall.
And of course, as Edmund Burke said a few hundred years ago, 'evil flourishes when good men wait.'
And like our current administration, who want to view the threat of Islamofascism as merely criminal instead of the mortal danger it poses, also have a reckoning to deal with, if not now, then certainly down the road. These crazies have declared war on us, and it matters not whether we want to recognize it as such, we're still at war and will be until one side or the other is defeated.
And it could take some time, since we have been at it on and off again since 'The Prophet' declared it so 1600 years ago, or so.
It is a VERY interesting study to discover WHO exactly it is promoting all the war and evil in the world. The Bible describes it as the "wheat versus the tares". And it goes all the way back to Adam and Cain, with the sons of Adam having eternal "enmity" (ie, hatred) with the "seed of the Serpent" (ie, literal CHILDREN of Satan). Thus, it predicts a battle between two races or lineages of mankind.
I'll go ahead and spill it...it's the so-called "jews" (the same tribe that controls Hollywood and the 'mainstream' media, international banking, etc).
Even Yahshua (aka 'Jesus') spoke of these literal sons of Satan alive and well in the world who are here to do the work of their father -- steal, kill, and destroy.
And no, "Jesus" was NOT a "jew". He was an Israelite, of which the "jews" are NOT.
'Jesus' condemned the jews of his day in the strongest of terms, as literal "children of the devil", "full of hypocrisy and iniquity", and "children of hell" (Matthew 23).
Yahshua speaking to the Jewish Pharisees:
"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." - John 8:44
"Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?" -Matthew 23:33
*Note: "generation" in the above verse is from the Greek "gennema", literally meaning "offspring". Check for yourself in Strong's Concordance and a Hebrew and Greek Lexicon.
